THE LOUDEST SILENCE
Short Documentary | 2016
1 in 4 women will be raped in their lifetime. Most likely by a close man. These stories even though so usual, remain secret, driven into silence by shame, guilt and naturalization of violence. The Loudest Silence is a film-essay composed by four stories of women who have been raped by their partners, men they knew. In an allegorical scenery they share their most intimate and painful memories and reflect upon what it is to be a woman in this world. Is this world made for us?

NOTAS SOBRE A IMPERMANÊNCIA
Book Trailer | 2021
During the pandemic, my beloved friend, Paula Gicovate, was about to release her novel "Notas Sobre a Impermanência". Aware of the highly imagetic power of her words, she invited me to bring the narrative to a compelling visual dimension and thus this book trailer, or miniature film, was born.

GATO É CRIME, DENUNCIE
Music Video | 2018
Gato é Crime, Denuncie, was a delicious challenge, because unlike the other music videos I directed, whose narratives were more flowing and loose, this had a very distinctive and clear story to be told. Another challenge was to direct the party sequences and the choreography, with a large number of extras, comprised by our friends and acquaintances. It's one of the most ambitious works I've participated in and it brings me great joy every time I re-watch it - which is always good for an editor, for the hours spent watching and re-watching every single part of the material can sometimes prove challenge for posterior enjoyment.
